This Privacy Policy explains how Scia handles information when you use the app. Scia is an emotional wellness app focused on mood tracking, journaling, guided breathing, and subscription-based premium features.
Information stored in the app
Scia stores on your device information such as mood check-ins, notes, tags, gratitude entries, goals, badges, weekly reflections, and app preferences.
This information is used to provide the app experience, show your history, generate insights, and personalize your use of Scia.
Sign in with Apple
If you choose Sign in with Apple, Scia may store on your device the Apple user identifier, your name, and your email address provided by Apple, so the app can recognize your profile and restore your local account context.
Subscriptions and payments
Scia Premium offers auto-renewable monthly and yearly subscriptions. Payments and billing are handled by Apple through the App Store. Scia receives only the subscription status required to unlock premium features.
Notifications
If you grant notification permission, Scia uses local device notifications to send reminders and smart check-in prompts.
Advertising and analytics
The current Scia app build does not include third-party advertising SDKs or external analytics services for the subscription and mood-tracking experience.
Your choices
- You can stop using Scia at any time.
- You can remove local data from within the app.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account settings.
- You can disable notifications from your device settings.
